About The Solar Fight Club
How It All Began!
What began in 2008 as a casual dinner among six friends after the RE+ event has now grown into a cornerstone of the renewable energy community. Solar Fight Night was born from a simple idea: bring together people who care deeply about the future of renewable energy and make space for real conversations, collaboration and momentum.
By 2009, that first gathering turned into an annual tradition. Today, SFN is curated by the six founding members of The Solar Fight Club - Daniel Dus, J. Stephen Pollock, Colin Mitchell, Todd Friedman, Zebulon Wallace and Nico Johnson who bring together founders, CEOs, policy leaders and rising talent from across the industry.

Colin is focused on advancing the utility-scale solar industry by collaborating closely with top developers, IPPs and EPCs. He’s particularly interested in emerging opportunities like agrivoltaics, recycling and dual-use applications for large-scale PV projects.
