Solar Fight, Club ("SFC") recognizes the importance of your privacy. This policy governs the manner in which SFC collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of https://solarfightnight.org/ website ("Site").

Please read this privacy policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how SFC will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, you can choose not to use the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to this privacy policy.

Scope of this Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to SFC's online activities and is valid for visitors to the Site with regards to the information that SFC collects online through Site. This privacy policy applies to all services and products offered by SFC. It does not apply to information that SFC collect by other means, such as information you share with us verbally, in writing, in email messages to our employees, or to information obtained during the course of providing services to a customer. This privacy policy also does not cover information collected by any other company, third-party site or third-party application that may link to the Site, or that can be accessed from the Site. This privacy policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this Site.

Please note that this privacy policy does not apply to personal information collected and processed about SFC employees, job applicants or independent contractors. The Site

When you visit the Site, SFC collects technical information such as the identity of your Internet Protocol (IP) address, your computer's or device's operating system and browser type, geolocation data, and the pages of Site that you visit. Most browsers automatically transmit this type of information to websites. SFC will anonymize your IP address. SFC collects this information to administer and manage Site, to ensure that it functions properly and to obtain and review website-related statistics and information (for example, verifying system and server integrity) and gathering demographic information.

SFC follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites and are a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. SFC uses such data only to assist us in providing an effective service (e.g., to adapt the Site to the needs of your end user device or to allow you to log into the Site). This data collection is necessary to provide you with the Site. The legal basis for this processing activity is Article 6 (1) 1 lit. b of the European General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

If a User chooses to submit data through one of our contact forms or gets in touch directly through a public-facing e-mail address, the information provided is automatically passed on to SFC. This data will be used to contact you in relation to your specific request or to contact you with ongoing organisational updates and information in the case of signups to a company newsletter. SFC will not collect any personal data from you that SFC does not need.

Your data captured by our contact forms will only be used to contact you for the specific reason of discussing your contact request. This information can then be deleted at your request. Any information about you that SFC uses for marketing purposes may be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to be contacted.

Personal Information

In order to better provide you with products and services offered on the Site, SFC may collect personal identification information (such as First and Last Name, E-mail Address, Job Title, Age, Birthday, Location, etc.) from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit the Site, subscribe to the newsletter, fill out a form, registering for fundraising events, purchasing tickets, or buying products and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources SFC make available on the Site.

If you purchase SFC's products, tickets, make donations or any related services, SFC collects billing and credit card information. For fundraising events and ticketing, SFC may collect contact information (e.g., phone number) and event preferences. For donations, SFC collects donor information (e.g., name, donation amount) to issue tax receipts. SFC may also collect shipping address for product purchases. This information is used to complete the purchase or donation transaction.

Users may visit the Site anonymously. SFC does not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services available on the Site. These may include: (a) registering for an account on the Site; (b) signing up for special offers from selected third parties; (c) sending us an email message; (d) submitting your credit card or other payment information when ordering and purchasing products, tickets, donating or any related services on the Site. To wit, SFC will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services, events, donations and/or products you have requested from us. Donation

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organisation, SFC collects donations through the Site or at fundraising events to support renewable energy initiatives. Donations may be tax-deductible for US taxpayers under Internal Revenue Code Section 170, subject to IRS limitations. SFC provides donation receipts via email, including donor name, amount, and date, to facilitate tax reporting. SFC is not responsible for determining the tax-deductibility of your donation or providing tax advice; consult your tax advisor. Nothing on this Site constitutes tax advice under IRS Circular 230. Donation data (e.g., name, amount, contact information) is processed to fulfill our nonprofit mission and comply with IRS recordkeeping requirements. The legal basis for processing donation data is Article 6(1) 1 lit. C GDPR, reflecting SFC's legitimate interest in managing its nonprofit activities.

With whom SFC Will share Your Information

SFC do not sell, trade, or rent Users' personal identification information to others. However, SFC may share information regarding visitors and Users with its business partners, affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined herein.

SFC may engage contractors, vendors, sponsors, affiliate entities and/ or third-party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, including but not limited to, sending out newsletters, event information, sponsor- related communications or surveys. SFC may share data with its sponsors, contractors, vendors, and third-party service providers solely for operational purposes and only under appropriate contractual safeguards. Any such third party is contractually bound to use the data only as instructed by SFC, and in compliance with applicable laws. The legal basis for this data processing and sharing activity includes Article 28 GDPR (data processing agreements with processors) and Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in program delivery and communication) or Article 6(1)(c) (legal obligation), as applicable. SFC may also share your personal information with courts, law enforcement authorities, regulators, attorneys or other parties when it is reasonably necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of a legal or equitable claim, for purposes of an alternative dispute resolution process, or to meet national security and law enforcement requirements; to comply with a subpoena or court order, legal process, or other legal requirement or when SFC believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with the law, prevent imminent physical harm or material financial loss; to investigate, prevent or take action concerning illegal activities, suspected fraud, threats to SFC, any of its employees, its staff or property; to protect and defend the rights or property of SFC; to act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of SFC, or the public and/or as necessary in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement, piracy or other unlawful activity.

Contacting SFC's Support Team

When you contact us, whether by telephone, through the Site or by e-mail, SFC collects the data you have given to us in order to reply with the information you need. SFC records your request and our reply in order to increase the efficiency of our business. SFC keeps personally identifiable information associated with your messages, such as your name and email address so as to be able to track our communications with you to provide high-quality service and respond to or resolve your query. If you contact SFC regarding donations, event tickets, or product purchases, we may retain your contact details to process your request, issue tax receipts, or provide event or order updates.

SFC will, from time to time, use User's data for:

We are hosting our website with Amazon Web Services (AWS). When you visit the Site, your personal data will be processed on AWS servers. The legal basis for such transfer is SFC's legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in the provision of a shared custom support, administration and internal IT department as well as SFC group's legitimate interest to guarantee smooth operations between our entities for the purposes set out above. SFC reserve the right to refuse to act on a request, or to charge a reasonable administrative fee when a request is either manifestly unfounded or excessive because of its repetitive character.

Accordingly, SFC is transferring your personal information from the EU to the U.S. based on your consent, or our need to use your personal information to provide information, products, events or related services that you order or request from us, and subject to the additional protections described below.
